Give a few dated life events and this casts a complete chart for every candidate minute in your window, scoring each on which dasha periods were running and what Jupiter and Saturn were transiting. A twelve-hour window at one-minute resolution is 1,441 full charts, and it takes about a second and a half.

How it is calculated

Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa. Positions come from a series fitted to Swiss Ephemeris and checked against it over 4,000 charts spanning 1901 to 2099: planets agree to within 11 arcseconds, the ascendant to within 8. Every figure can be verified against professional software.
