How it is calculated

Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa. Positions come from a series fitted to Swiss Ephemeris and checked against it over 4,000 charts spanning 1901 to 2099: planets agree to within 11 arcseconds, the ascendant to within 8. Every figure can be verified against professional software.
